Party Time mini album with Artbooking (for Exploring Cricut)

Today is my day to share the daily project at Exploring Cricut and I have a really fun project to share!  I made a mini album using the Artbooking cartridge for pictures of my mom's big 70th birthday party.  (It was a Christmas gift for her!)  I used the 8x8 travel themed album for the base pages on the Artbooking cartridge.  I also used Artbooking for most of the decorative elements.  The title is from the Phrases cartridge.  The fabulous paper and stickers are from the Bo Bunny Surprise collection.

This actually came together pretty quickly!  I recommend using a coordinated paper pack that includes stickers to make things easier, like Echo Park and Bo Bunny make.  That way all the papers all look good together already and you already have some decorative elements ready to go!  I hope you enjoyed this and are inspired to make a mini!  Remember to check out our daily projects at Exploring Cricut each day (or on Facebook).

I've got two posts today:

Time to face another Monday!  I've had a relaxing weekend hanging out with the fam, ignoring the laundry and other pesky chores.  However, one can only ignore the laundry for so long….so that is what I will be doing today-blah!  I am the goddess of laundry-that's what I keep telling myself anyway.  But on to the crafty portion of this post!  Just below is my card for the baby challenge over at BBTB2, using the Baby Steps and Zooballoo cartridges.  Scroll down one post for my winter layout for the Cricut choice challenge for  Exploring Cricut, using the Winter Woodland cartridge.  I hope you have a wonderful week, staying warm and with time for some crafty fun!  

Oh Baby card (for BBTB2)

It's a baby challenge at BBTB2 this week!  My project was inspired by Pinterest.  I've seen a number of  dresser cards on Pinterest with various themes, and have been eager for the occasion to try to make one.  I cut three rectangles for my dresser drawers and added brads for the knobs.  The darling little baby outfit and rattle are from the Baby Steps cartridge (so fun to cut in pink, since everything in my life is boy-related…).  The cute "Oh Baby" and "Congrats" phrases are from the Zooballoo cartridge.

The magic of winter layout (for Exploring Cricut)

It's a cricut choice challenge this week at Exploring Cricut!  Here are the details:  use the color blue, at least 2 cricut cuts, and at least one patterned paper.  I've got some snowy pictures from the whole polar vortex snow event from a few weeks ago to scrap, so I made a winter layout with the Winter Woodland cartridge.  I added a little stickle to the snow on the house and the ice skater's dress for some sparkle, although it's really hard to see in the picture.  It's very sparkly in person though!  The bg papers are from an old Echo Park collection called Winter Wishes.

Heard You Caught a Bug get well card (for BBTB2)

It's a new Monday and that means a new challenge at BBTB2!  A get well card is the theme for this week and those are handy to have in the card stash!  It's such a great pick me up to receive a sweet get well card when you've been miserable and sick!  Since I work at a hospital, I'll tell you that something to read, lip balm, hand sanitizer, soft tissues, or lotion make great little gifts for a patient or family.  Along with a thoughtful or funny card, of course!  I used the CM Cheerful Seasons cartridge for my dragonfly card, which was inspired by the bg paper from My Mind's Eye.

Dude, Chill card (for Exploring Cricut)

Hi guys!  Today is my day for the daily project at Exploring Cricut and I have a wintery card that one of the kids is using for holiday thank yous.  He wanted something "funny", so this was the result.  This is my favorite snowman on the Winter Frolic cartridge and he looked pretty chill and cool!  I've been dying to use this stamp ever since I got this set.  I cut the speech bubble from the Accent Essentials cartridge.  The background snowflake paper is from the Bo Bunny Powder Mountain collection from last year.

I've got two posts today...

I'm so glad it's Monday!  This last week been one of those weeks I'd like to forget, as the whole family came down with an awful stomach virus!  Let's just say it's been a horror show of vomiting and I'm grateful to see a brand new week.  Fortunately I had my crafty projects and posts for today all done way ahead of time, thank goodness!  Just below, I have a winter layout for Exploring Cricut, using the Everyday Paperdolls cartridge.
