Koala card

Cardz TV has a fun challenge going on right now-critter cuties.  I had such a difficult time deciding on WHICH critter to use for my card!  However, I finally settled on a koala from Create A Critter, as it is a favorite of Son#2.   The sentiment stamp is from the K Andrews set "Of Mice and Lil Men".

Cricut:
Create A Critter-all cuts
Stamp-K Andrews "Of Mice and Lil Men"
Paper-prints are Basic Grey "Life of the Party" collection, solids are CTMH
I'm linking this to the Cardz TV challenge and there is a LOT of cute inspiration over there!

Snow White layout (Disney)

I am still SLOWLY working my way through my Disney pics from last year!  We snapped several fun pics inside of Snow White's Scary Adventure, including one of the wishing well, while we were on the ride.  I cut Snow White and the wishing well from the Happily Ever After cartridge, and added the apple, bird, border, and title.   I cut Snow White at 5 1/2 inches and had to do her eyes with gel pens, as the eye pieces were just too small to work with.

Edited to add:  I just realized I photographed this with the pages reversed-Snow White and the Wishing Well are supposed to be together!  Whoops!!!

Cricut:
Happily Ever After-all cuts
Paper-solid card stock is CM and Bo Bunny, print-Disney paper pack

I'm going to link this to the Exploring Cricut Disney Dreaming challenge this week.  I'm looking forward to seeing all the cool Disney projects there for ideas!

Heat Wave layout

It was triple digit kind of hot for much of our recent vacation, so the kids spent a lot of time in the lake or the pool.  Our resort had multiple fabulous pools, which I of course had to take pictures of.  All the cuts on this layout are from Life As a Beach, including the oh so perfect title!  The stamp is from the K Andrews Splashtastic Summer set and paper is some old Bo Bunny Barefoot Bliss collection from my stash.  The little letter stickers are from an old Echo Park collection.

Keep Paddling layout

We went canoeing to celebrate my Dad's 71st birthday recently (he went in a kayak!) and I had so much fun making this layout for some of the pictures of us on the river.   The circles with the paddles and life vest are from Camping Critters and the font is Plaintain Schoolbook Roly Poly-which I realized after cutting the letters did not have a shadow, so I cut the letters again in white and just offset them a bit to make them stand out more against the background.   The journal box is also a cut from Camping Critters with the fun little stamp from K Andrews Splashtastic Summer set.

Cricut:

Paper/Stickers-Echo Park plaid, green bo bunny double dot, CM brown

Have a ball card

The adorable croc from Crocs Rule is having a birthday (card, that is). This will go in my stash. The stamp, which pairs with it very nicely is from the Summer Splashtastic set (by Kristal of the Getting Cricky with K Andrews blog). The fun stripe paper and Happy Birthday sticker is leftover from my Bo Bunny Ad Lib paper last summer.

As soon as I saw this stamp set, I've had this card in mind!

Scavenger Hunt layout

This layout of my kids and their cousins on a huge scavenger hunt features one of my absolute favorite cartridges-Doodlecharms!  It was one of the very first carts I bought and I still find myself going back to it often, as the images are simple and fun (and without too many layers-while I love the look of lots of layers, sometimes that is just tedious to cut and you want something fast and easy).  We had to collect all kinds of items (while tied together!!!), like flowers, branches, bugs, leaves, etc. on this hunt (along with many other assorted random items!)    It was good summer time fun!

Cricut:

Buckets of Fun layout

I made this layout last night for the Exploring Cricut challenge this week:  Summer Fun is the theme, using at least 3 cricut cuts, 2 patterned papers, and an embellishement.  I used the H2O cartridge for the pail, ball, sprinkler, and sun.  The title font is my favorite-the Mickey Font!  The pics are from our elementary school Field Day, which heavily featured water games!  The kids spent most of the day wet, so I thought the stamp was perfect!   For my embellishment, I added some orange stickle to the sun and diamond glaze to the water on the sprinkler to make it look wet.

H2O-all other cuts

You Float My Boat Father's Day card

We are going canoeing with my Dad next week (after Father's Day), so I thought this sentiment (you float my boat) with the canoe image from Just Because Cards would make him smile for his card.  The stamp is from a K Andrews set I got recently called Splashtastic Summer, which has lots of fun summer sentiments.  The awesome paper is from the Basic Grey Shine On collection (along with the button and transparent stars.  The banner cut for the sentiment is from Birthday Bash.  The #1Dad is from Phrases and the sun is from my fave Doodlecharms.

A Summer State of Mind layout

With some of the remains of my Splash paper from Echo Park that I got last year, I made this swimming layout of my kids and some of their cousins.  The "state of mind" part of the title is from Graphically Speaking-I think swimming definitely leads to a summer state of mind!  The banner is from Birthday Bash and the rest of the cuts, including the font, is from the CM This and That cartridge.  I'm linking this to the Getting Cricky challenge this month:  Summertime!  I also used a stamp from the K Andrews set (of Getting Cricky) called Splashtastic Summer.
