Have a Blast card

Made this for Son#3, for a lunchbox card for him.  He loves to build rockets and spaceships with his legos, so he will really like this one, I think.  The rocket is from Boys Will Be Boys and the sentiments are from a My Pink Stamper set called Lunchbox Thoughts.  I'm linking it to the Paper Playtime challenge to make a guy card with a sentiment.

My mom had challenged herself to make cards using her scraps.   I decided to see what I could come up with from my scraps lying around my table (am I the only person who doesn't clean off their workspace?) and this little mini card came together.  The apple is from the CM Cheerful Seasons cart and I truthfully have NO idea where I got this fruit themed stamp set for the sentiment, but it was right there on my table underneath all the scraps!   I'll be sending this to school in one of the kid's lunchboxes (or maybe hubby's).

music to my ears

I checked out the blog hop on My Pink Stamper tonight and decided to try the challenge!  I had planned to make a  mini 3x3 card for Son #2 (who sings and plays piano, hence the music theme) for his lunchbox next week, so I incorporated the challenge elements:  use red, a circle, a pink ribbon, a diecut, and 2 different stamps!  I used the Music Speaks stamp set by My Pink Stamper (I love this set!) and Lunchbox Thoughts for the I love you (love this set too).

Whooooooo loves you?

This tiny valentine is for the Fantabulous Cricut challenge to make a "Valentiny" (3x3 card).  I used some leftover paper and cardstock for the whole thing!  The owl is from Hoot and Holler and the inside stamp is from a My Pink Stamper set.  This will be perfect for a little lunchbox valenine note!

Dino-mite!

This card is for Son#3, who is a huge dinosaur fan.  It will be a lunchbox card for him sometime soon.  I used Create A Critter for the dinosaur and a My Pink Stamper set for the sayings.  The stars are from a CM punch.  I'm linking it to the My Craft Spot challenge to make a boy card.

Added:  This layout made the Cricut Chirp!!!  I'm so excited!!!!

You're Grand!

I've had the cutest stamp set from My Pink Stamper for awhile, called Music Speaks, which I got because two of my kids are really involved in music.  I made Son#2 a lunchbox mini card with two of the stamps and the piano from A Child's Year (he taught himself the latest Adele song and performed it for his music class at school, while accompanying himself on the piano-it was apparently quite a hit with  5th grade ladies, as they've been stopping me to tell me what a great singer he is!).   He told me after school that he LOVED his lunch note from me!

Christmas mini lunchbox cards

These will go into the kid's lunchboxes sometime this month, just for fun!  They are loving the notes from home occasionally in their lunch.  I put notes from Grandma that she had made for them in their lunchbox one day and they came home asking "Is Grandma here, Mom?  Cause I got a note from her today!"   These all use Doodlecharms, my second favorite cartridge.

More Lunchbox mini cards

My best friend's elementary school is having a craft fair, so we are making some cards to possibly sell.  My kids have LOVED the lunchbox cards (3x3) I made for them, so I thought I'd make a few for the fair.  My boys consulted on what I should make from Boys Will Be Boys.  Here is the first batch-seems like sort of a transportation theme going on.  I'm doing a sports batch next, and will put those up for another day.

Lunchbox mini cards

My younger boys had requested some "notes from Mom" in their lunchboxes (aww, what mom could resist that plea?).  The BBTB2 challenge to use a frog seemed like a good fit for boy themed notes.  I made a couple, including one with an alien and some sock monkeys (as they love their sock monkeys dearly).
