Disney layout day!

Happy Monday!   Our BBTB2 challenge today is to use an imaginary character-well, I think ANY Disney character would qualify, right?  This makes it a Disney layout day for me, so if you love the Mouse and have a million pictures to scrap, hopefully you will find something fun to scrap lift.  And since I had several Disney projects to share, you are getting all three, although only two have imaginary characters.  These were so much fun to make, although I will admit to a bit of swearing while putting Buzz Lightyear together (DO NOT cut him small….unless you want to lose your mind!).  Please note:  for the BBTB2 challenge, any imaginary character will meet the challenge requirements-it does not have to be Disney related.  Go check out the design team projects over at BBTB2 and link up a project this week!

Hand Over the Toys layout (Disney project)

The Lego store at Downtown Disney had the most amazing lego sculptures of Woody and Buzz Lightyear-making you wonder JUST how long did it take to make that?  Of course the fellas had to get pictures with them and then shop for legos.  (Many many legos...)  But on to the layout!  I used the Toy Story cartridge for Woody and Buzz and the Hand Over the Toys title.  Nate's ABCs was the font for Lego Store.  I will admit to possibly saying a bad word while trying to assemble Woody-let's just say the pieces were tiny and not cooperating and I had to bring out the tweezers!  But he finally was put together!

Cricut:
Toy Story-Woody cut at 7 1/2 in., Buzz cut at 2 1/2 in., and title cut at 4 1/2 in.
Nate's ABCs-lego title
Paper-background print is from The Paper Studio, solids are CM and CTMH
brown chalk ink/pop dots
Stamp-My Pink Stamper set

I'm going to link this to the Cut It Up challenge "Animation Domination" this week, making a project that showcases an animated character.

Rootin' Tootin' Shootin' Toy Story Mania layout (Disney)

I'm very slowly working my way through the millions of pictures I took last year on our Disney trip.  Toy Story Mania was one of our favorite rides-we ALL loved it!  I saw the Rootin' Tootin' Shootin' title on a tshirt in the gift shop later and knew that would work it's way onto a layout somehow.   This took me a whole evening to make-those cuts on Toy Story are not for the faint-hearted!  I cut Jessie at 10 inches and I would not cut her any smaller, as I still had to dig out the tweezers for small pieces.  I cut Bullseye at 6 inches (he wasn't as bad as Jessie).  The army men weren't too bad either.  I love how my layout turned out in the end, even if assembly was a bit tedious :)

Cricut:
Kate's ABCs-MANIA letters
Mickey Font-title
Toy Story-all other cuts
Paper-all CM, both printed backgrounds and solid cardstock

I'm linking this to the Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Disney challenge.  There were a ton of fabulous Disney projects on the two day blog hop over there-very inspirational!
