Rocky Mountain High road trip layout (for BBTB2 travel challenge)

It's a vacation travel challenge at BBTB2!  We are leaving next week to go to Estes Park Colorado to see Rocky Mountain National Park and do some hiking and white water rafting, so this was very timely!  I cannot wait to be on the road!  I'm sure I'll be taking a bazillion pictures of the mountain views (in fact, I've scheduled us for a jeep photography tour!), so I've made a layout using Pack Your Bags and Zooballoo.  I cut the mountains from Zooballoo at fit to page, which turned out to be 4 1/2 inches.  The car, camera, and compass are all from Pack Your Bags.

Edited to add:  My kids informed me that this title could be misconstrued with the Colorado legislation legalizing certain substances (which did not even occur to me)….so just to clarify, we are going high as in ELEVATION,  lol!

Cricut:
Pack Your Bags-car cut at 4 inches, compass cut at 3 inches, camera cut at 3 inches
Mickey Font-title cut at 1 inch
Paper/Stickers-Echo Park Summer Bliss collection prints, CTMH solids

Oh Baby card (for BBTB2)

It's a baby challenge at BBTB2 this week!  My project was inspired by Pinterest.  I've seen a number of  dresser cards on Pinterest with various themes, and have been eager for the occasion to try to make one.  I cut three rectangles for my dresser drawers and added brads for the knobs.  The darling little baby outfit and rattle are from the Baby Steps cartridge (so fun to cut in pink, since everything in my life is boy-related…).  The cute "Oh Baby" and "Congrats" phrases are from the Zooballoo cartridge.

Cricut:
Baby Steps-outfit cut at 2 1/2 inches, rattle cut at 2 inches
Zooballoo-phrases, both cut at 1 inch
Formal Occasion-hangar
Paper-CTMH solids, The Paper Studio pink patterned paper
brown chalk ink
Swiss dots embossing folder

We are looking forward to seeing what sweet baby goodness you come up with and you MUST go check out all the darling baby projects from the DT over at BBTB2!

Monkey Business

This layout almost finishes up Son#2's birthday pics, from the infamous sock monkey party!  There was much goofing around with all the sock monkeys, some of which I got pictures of.  So what else could I title this page but "Monkey Business"?   The super fun paper is more of the Cheekee Monkey stack I got at Hobby Lobby.  (refer back to the "I'm bananas 4 you" post to see pics of the party guests using the bananas as cell phones for the sock monkeys while eating cake and ice cream!).

Cricut:
Animal Kingdom-title, monkey, banana
Zooballoo-vines
Life is a Beach-leaves
Accent Essentials-top note shape under title and hidden journaling tag
brown chalk ink in jumbo java
orange ribbon-Stampin Up

I'm going to link this to the Fantabulous Cricut challenge this week "Fun with Puns".

Sock it to Me!

I'm still working on the backlog of birthday pics!!!  (more sock monkey madness to come...)  I found this sock monkey paper at Hobby Lobby-perfect for the sock monkey theme.  I used the B is for Boy sock monkey, Zooballoo, and Create a Critter for the rest of the layout.

Cricut:
B is for Boy-sock monkeys
Zooballoo-font, it's a party
Create A Critter-big flower, balloons, word bubble
Stamp-My Pink Stamper
Big Kick-buttons
twine, brown chalk ink
Paper-CM cardstock, The Paper Studio for the sock monkey paper

I'm Bananas for You

This layout is catching up more of the birthday pictures-son #2 had a Sock Monkey themed birthday party.  I found the most fun stack of paper called Cheekee Monkey by The Paper Studio at Hobby Lobby to work with for these pics.  I did a search at MyCutSearch.com (which lets you search for images on all the carts) and found monkeys on lots of carts.  I went with the adorable monkey from the Sweethearts cartridge, which also had the title.  The bananas are from Create a Critter and the vines from Zooballoo.

Cricut:
Sweetheart-title, monkey, vine, and leaf
Create a Critter-bananas
Zooballoo-vines
Paper-Cheekee Monkey by The Paper Studio, brown cardstock from the stash

I'm going to link this to the BBTB2 challenge this week to use a cricut number on the project somewhere, since I have the 4 in the title.

Happy Fall

I made a title page for my album a while back, using Simply Charmed.  It was kind of fun to build a scene, without any pictures taking up space on the page!  I love the little scarecrow people hanging out in the field...

Cricut:
Simply Charmed-scarecrow people, tree, pumpkins, clouds
Doodlecharms-sun (can't do without that sun-I use it all the time)
Zooballoo-grass
Paper-textured DCVW pack I got for Christmas, which has been really handy, since I'm probably the only person on the  planet without a cuttlebug or embossing tool.
