Happy Monday! I can't quite believe it's Monday already-where did the weekend go? It was full of high school musical productions (Son#2 was playing in the pit band) and books. One of my book clubs gets together for lunch each December to pick the books for the following year-one of my favorite events of the season! Of course I had to curl up with my Nook and a cup of hot tea to sort through my recommendations. A very cozy way to spend a Friday night-PJs, hot tea, and books! But on to craft things!
It's all things Christmas this month at BBTB2 and our challenge this week is to use a Christmas animal or bird. While my reindeer didn't photograph well as I didn't do a very good job with the lighting, he is holding down the fort in the corner of my Christmas layout. I used the Artbooking cartridge for both the reindeer and the title (both cut on real dial size, due to the sizing on Artbooking being for the pre-made layouts). I take a LOT of pictures at Christmas (I know you're surprised to hear that, LOL!), so I need Christmas layouts that hold lots of pictures and I got 8 onto this layout. Really, I need ALL my layouts to hold lots of pictures, since I take so many. With three kids, it takes multiple photos to tell the story. The paper strip on the right above the reindeer is intended for a bit of journaling to tell the story as well. There is lots of Christmas inspiration over at BBTB2 and we hope you will link up a Christmas project of your own!
