Dream and Love Valentine layout

Happy Monday!  We've had a quiet week just cozied up at home!  Lots of hot tea, books, and crafty time!  And a little shopping online....I bought an image collection from Close to My Heart on cricut.com called Everyday Moments and made this pre-designed layout from it for a Valentine's Day photo.  (We had a quiet Valentine's Day romantic dinner at home with our favorite Chinese takeout, so I only took one selfie of the two of us.)  I changed the design up some, adding the Love title and extra hearts and made one of the photo mats into a journaling space instead.  It took a bit to cut all the pieces, but turned out cute!  Have a good week and notice the small special moments!

On the Slopes ski layout

Happy Monday!  I've got a ski layout to share this week.  My hubby and I went skiing in Vail last week for a much needed vacation and it is so very beautiful there!  I took some great pictures!  We had a good time right up until hubby tore his ACL, bringing our trip to an abrupt end...no more snow skiing this year.  Sigh.  At least we got some fantastic days in before the injury!  The Vail ER apparently sees this injury a lot-there were several other people with skiing knee injuries in at the same time as hubby.

I am enjoying scrapping the photos though!  I used an older paper collection from Simple Stories in 2018 called Sub Zero that I've had stashed for just the right project.  All the Cricut cuts (skis, goggles, title) are from the CTMH You Are Here image collection, which is full of travel images for all kinds of trips and is one of my favorites!  Hope you all have a wonderful week!

NYC travel layout

Happy Monday!  My college kids are home for spring break this week, so I'm looking forward to spending some time with them.  I've been doing lots of reading and crafting the last couple of weeks and completed another travel themed layout for some NYC pictures.  Why is cutting out cute little yellow cab die cuts so ridiculously fun?  The yellow cab was making me laugh the whole time I put it together.  It's from the Beep Beep image collection (the name also makes me laugh!) and I found the NYC icon on cricut access.  Here's hoping you all have a good week too!

snowflake thank you card

Happy Friday!  With the end of the BBTB2 blog (where I was a design team member), I took a few week blogging break but plan to continue to share some projects a few times a month.  The hospital I work at has been absolutely crushed with covid cases in January.  It has been the most difficult point of the pandemic in KC, with record numbers of cases and deaths, overwhelming the hospital.  I've been working some extra shifts and had zero creative drive.  While things are still pretty bad, KC has crested the peak and I'm eager to get back to being creative, which is my happy therapy!

I had some post-Christmas thank you cards to send, so here is a snowflake themed card.  The snowflake is from the Winter Lace image collection.  Since Kansas City got snow this week, it felt very appropriate, lol!  I hope you all have a good week with time for some self care moments!
