Hello Summer swim layout

 Happy Monday!  Have you been able to enjoy any summer fun?  It's been VERY hot in KC, so perfect weather to be in the pool for my college kids and their friends.  This summer pool layout has images from the Paper Doll Teen Scene collection plus the pool image from Miss Kate Cuttables Splish Splash collection.  Hope you are getting some sunshine and July fun and staying cool!

Ticket to Ride layout

Today is my day for the daily project at Exploring Cricut and it's all about roller coasters and summertime fun at the amusement park!  I used the Carousel Lite cartridge to cut the roller coaster and ticket booth.  My teen is from the Paper Doll Teen Scene cartridge and I gave him a cup of soda from Carousel.  (I could add some $$$ for all the concession money, lol-what a ripoff!)  All the tickets are also from Carousel.  I added the word RIDE to the tickets using the Mickey Font, along with the title.  My layout will have some pics on it from Disney and Universal Studios from earlier this year, since we braved all the big coasters (in spite of my better judgement…however, I survived so it's all good!).  My pictures are bright and colorful, so I wanted bright colorful papers-these Echo Park papers hit the spot.

Winter Fun layout

This is a winter layout for some very old ski pictures!  I used the Teen Scene Paper Doll for the skier and Winter Woodland for the title.  The pretty layered snowflakes are from the CM Cheerful Seasons cart (had to slow down the cutting speed to cut these-tricky to get a clean cut, but so pretty when put together!).  The background paper is from the Bo Bunny Powder Mountain collection.  Sorry about the glare-no sunshine here for the last few days, so it was hard to get decent photos.

"Baby it's cold outside" layout

It's feeling kind of cold here today, although we did not get the predicted wintry mix of rain and snow.  I used my Teen Scene Paper Dolls and Graphically Speaking to make a cold weather layout though, as I'm sure we'll have some snow soon enough.  It was inspired by this fun word paper from the Bo Bunny Powder Mountain collection!  So my boy with the sled is from Teen Scene and the COLD word jumble and snowflakes are from Graphically Speaking.  The journal box is from Elegant Edges.

Wahoo! layout

The paper doll cartridges (Paperdoll Dress Up and Paperdoll Teen Scene) helped me make this layout for the last pics from our trip to the 1800s themed fall festival.  I cut the Teen Scene boy cowboy and Indian, imagining them getting together to listen to music or trade in the 1800s town square.  (Son#1 was performing in the square on his fiddle.)  The teepee is from Paperdoll Dress Up and the guitar and title are from Old West.  The stamps on the journal box are from a set I won at PauseDreamEnjoy Challenges!  It is called Buffalo Spring, by Mark's Finest Papers.  I was so excited when I opened the package-thanks Janis!-because I had a project for them right away :)

Hear the Music layout

Had to have some more fun with my new Teen Scene paper dolls!  This music layout from an orchestra concert featured the boy with the guitar, only I changed out the guitar for a violin from Quarter Note (after trimming off the flourishes from the violin).  The words are all from Quarter Note.  I'm not sure where I got the paper-it was in my stash.  I'm always on the lookout for interesting music paper when I go to a scrapbook store, knowing there will be many musical events each year.  I covered up parts of the program that had names with some notebook paper for the blog photos, if you are puzzled as to why there are big white pieces of notebook paper on the program.

Wet and Wild layout

I just got the Paperdoll Teen Scene and have been dying to play with it!  I made a layout for waterpark pictures with one of the guy paperdolls and the waterslide from Carousel cut at fit to page (which turned out to be 10 inches).  The paper is Echo Park.
