Happy Monday! It's been a busy week of parent-teacher conferences, fall orchestra concerts, and of course watching baseball every night to see our Kansas City Royals win the World Series. Between every song at the school concerts and in every line at the conferences, there were glowing phone screens of everybody checking the latest score. I think the entire city was up until after midnight last night to see the win!
Moving on to crafty matters, the BBTB2 challenge this week is to use a pumpkin. Since I have been having fun exploring my new Artistry cartridge, I used cuts from it for my fall layout except for the font (which is from the CM Stork's Delivery cartridge). The paper is from the Carta Bella fall line. I included a second shot with the pictures of a fall hike added, to show how I used the wreath of leaves to bring the focus to the kids in the photo. While you can't see it very well in the photo due to the lighting, I used my Swiss Dots embossing folder on the pumpkins to give them some texture. The design team over at BBTB2 has lots of pumpkin goodness for you to feast your eyes on, so go check it out and have some fun linking up a project of your own!
Cricut:
Artistry-leaf wreath, pumpkins, leaves
Stork's Delivery-font
Paper-Carta Bella Fall Blessings collection prints, CTMH solids
brown chalk ink, Swiss dots embossing folder

This is gorgeous. I love all of your layouts. THANK YOU so much for showing the layout with and without pictures. You have motivated me to get some pictures scrapped today.

ReplyDeleteoh - I almost want that cart just for the leaf wreath. Love how you used it as a focus of a picture in your double layout.

Congratulations on the Royals win. I guess if the Cubs couldn't do it, I was glad that the Royals did!! How exciting. I love your beautiful fall layout. Your pictures are so beautiful also. The wreath looks so wonderful with the picture behind it. It looks like your family loves to hike, ours does too. Love those pumpkins and papers, too!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great fall layout! The leaf wreath is really cool. I don't have any of the CTMH cartridges, but they have some great things on them. Congrats to the Royals.
