Livin' the good life layouts

Sorry these pics got out of order-I don't know how to fix that yet.  I used these layouts for some summer boating pictures, but they would have worked for pool or beach pics too.  I used Bo Bunny's Barefoot and Bliss paper pack.  (Fantastic paper-I've used almost every scrap!   I actually bought some more to do a mini as a gift later this year, for Christmas.)

Classroom Party (Halloween)

I made another layout for the school party pics I know will be coming up, using more of the Doodlebug Monster Mania paper.  This is for the BBTB2 challenge to use the word "classroom" in some way.  I absolutely love how the bat boy turned out with his glitter wings!

Trick or Treat

I just couldn't wait to use some of my new Doodlebug Halloween paper!  Of course, I'll have lots of trick or treat pics to put on there eventually!   This is just the first of several Halloween layouts I've got to do.  I also entered this in The Paper Variety challenge-using stickers.

Happy Fall

I made a title page for my album a while back, using Simply Charmed.  It was kind of fun to build a scene, without any pictures taking up space on the page!  I love the little scarecrow people hanging out in the field...

Music (for a challenge)

I'm going to try the Fantabulous Cricut challenge this week, which is to incorporate a musical instrument or note.  This layout has both!  Sorry the pics are not the best-it's raining here and dark :(

Catnap

This layout is of our cat, who of course has the great life (lots of naps!!!).   I think I want to trade places with him and nap in the sun.  My boys have been telling me lately he needs his own layout in the family scrapbook.   I've never done a pet layout before, but just got the Meow cart on sale!

mini-album 100% Boy (pic heavy)

My sons had each requested their own mini album, so this is what I came up with for son#1.  The album pages are chipboard I saved from packages of my scrapbook pages and page protectors.  I cut each 12 by 12 chipboard into four 6x6 pieces for the pages.  Free is the best, right?

The transparency page with the fall scene is actually a cricut mat cover that I cut down to 6x6 and punched holes in for the rings to go through.  I adhered my "scene" to one side of it.    My son wanted places to write, so I included several places he can journal.  The small pages with tags are business envelopes cut in half and covered with paper, which made nice tag spots.  The rest of the decorations are stickers that came with the paper pack.
