from Soaring to Test Track layout (Disney)

Another Disney layout-this one I struggled with because I only had a single photo (or none, in the case of Soaring) of some favorite attractions at Epcot.  I decided to combine them into a two page spread, but it was difficult to make it flow and feel unified.   Mickey and his plane seemed like a good representation of the Soaring ride. I had some pics from Test Track, which was Son#3's favorite ride that I represented with the road from the CM Traveler cart.  The traffic cones and sign are from the Cars cartridge.  I used three of the different fonts from Lyrical Letters for the titles.

Cricut:
Lyrical Letters-fonts
Mickey and Friends-Mickey and plane
CM Traveler-road
Cars-road sign, traffic cones
Paper/stickers-Echo Park

I'm going to link this to the Fantabulous Cricut transportation themed challenge this week, since I've got a plane and road going on!  I couldn't quite get a race car for test track squeezed onto the road, so you'll have to imagine the car is just out of sight, lol!

  2. This really is a smart project! I love that you combined the rides and how you did it!
The Cricut cuts w/ the other accents are really perfect as is the background paper!
Adore this! But to be real, I can see where the struggle could have been but the end
result is really great! My last Disney page pretty much knocked me on my butt! LOL!

Well hope you are having a great week! Hugs! Leah

  3. Well this layout is "perfect". Everthing flows very nicely, you have a talent for bringing it all together.. I love the road, I am working on my project 365 and the road might help me out..But I understand what you mean by struggling to make the pages flow, I struggle everytime I work on my Project 365, none of it goes together AND I have so much journaling, it is so hard to make anything flow, (but I do believe you could do make it all flow). . But I am determined to finish it.

  4. AND i hope you have a WONDERFUL time on your scrapbook retreat.. i usually talk more than i work. lol. But it's all about just having fun. i can't wait to see what you create. i am trying to work that road in one of my Project 365 layouts.. i am wondering if i should use it.. i will never do another Project 365 again.. if i had done it the way you were suppose to it would have been so much easier, but oh no, i had to try to do it my own way. lol...
