Wedding card

We are going to a wedding this weekend, so I made the card to go with our gift using the bride's colors.  The bride and groom are huge MU Tigers fans (met at a football game in fact), and the wedding colors are black, gold, and white-the MU colors!   I'm told they are even coming down the aisle at the end to the Tiger fight song!  We'll see if that turns out to be true.  (The bride has taught two of my boys in elementary school.)  I used the Sweethearts cartridge for the dress and rings and several of my embossing folders to give some texture, which brought out the dress a little more.  Stay tuned for the wedding gift, which I will post another day (I made a recipe book).

The Fantabulous Cricut challenge this week is wedding bliss, so I'm going to link my card to it.

  1. Well that should be an interesting wedding. Love how you used all the embossing folders on the dress, very very nicely done. AND just a hint of the gold, perfect. She is sure to love this.
Can't wait to see the gift. hugs from Ukiah

  2. Being an alum of Mizzou I think your card is so pretty! Can't wait to hear if the song will really happen:)

  3. So clean and simple but very effective design!
