Happy Monday! It's been a busy weekend of work and I am so ready to have today off. Our BBTB2 challenge this week is to use ice skates on a project. It so happens that the U.S. National Figure Skating Championships were in Kansas City last week and I have watched quite a bit of skating on TV. Makes me wish I knew how to ice skate! For my project, I made a thank you card, using the skates from the Family Album cartridge. You can see the other skating projects over at BBTB2 and enter the drawing at the end of the month for some cricut supplies.

VEry sweet card, Michelle. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteI watched the skating championships also. These skaters just amaze me with what they can do. I never learned to ice skate either, just on my shoes in a frozen area on the farm, lol. The background paper works so well with those ice Skates! Love your card!
ReplyDeleteWhat??? You do not know how to skate??? WOMAN! LOL I really like the wintry chill of this card. The color of your skates is great too. I makes them looked well loved and well used. I really like the Sparkle sentiment!

I'm another one who never learned to ice skate! I remember a disastrous ice skating date in college...shudder! Love your card and the beautiful colors of your papers--it's all great!
ReplyDeleteLovely card - to me it has a bit of a masculine feel to it. It could be for anyone. I haven't skated since my kids were little - it is really not an easy thing to learn. Now I would break a hip or an arm. I'll watch from the sidelines.
