Happy Monday! I've returned from our trip to the UK to deliver Son#1 to college at Oxford and recovered from the accompanying jet lag. We had a wonderful trip and needed a week to recover from the trip, lol! Jet lag is no joke! I took lots of pictures of all the amazing things we saw, so lots of fun scrapbooking is ahead.
I'm the hostess for our pumpkin challenge for the next two weeks over at BBTB2. I'll admit this week's project was kind of thrown together, as my fatigue led to a severe creative block. I do have a wonderful picture of my boys that will go on this week's layout, taken in September on the last time the boys will be together til Christmas break. I used Designer's Calendar for the September title and a cartridge called Pumpkin Farm that I found on cricut access for the pumpkins and leaves. I hope you will join us with a project over at BBTB2 and you can see the other designer's wonderful work over there as well.
Cricut:
Designer's Calendar-september
Pumpkin Farm-pumpkins, leaves
Paper-Colorbok Beach House collection prints, CTMH solids
brown chalk ink for edging
For those interested, a few snaps from the trip to the UK are below. We loved London and enjoyed seeing some of the historical sites and rode the London Eye for a fantastic view of the city. Oxford is like being on a movie set, except it's real life! Everything is is old and beautiful and amazing. Seeing the University of Oxford (which is made up of 39 colleges) and learning that the oldest college was founded in the 1100s was incredible. I'm envious of my son's opportunity to spend a year there. We spent our last day seeing Stonehenge, which gave me goosebumps as I looked at these ancient stones from 2500 BC.
