Paradise beach layout

Happy Monday!  I'm enjoying my last bit of time with the kids, as college and high school start dates are coming right up in mid August!  How the summer has flown by!  We are squeezing in a quick weekend trip to St. Louis with all the teens plus some extras to see the iconic Gateway Arch and some museums next weekend.  Gotta figure out what cuisine in St. Louis we should sample....(not BBQ, because we can get better right here in KC, but I'm sure they have other specialties).

Our BBTB2 challenge for this next two weeks is to celebrate the beach life!  I dug down into the scrap pile for some beach pics from several years ago and grabbed the cricut You Are Here cartridge from CTMH (which is full of great travel images) to make the layout below.  I had this great background beach paper from Echo Park in the stash to start adding my palm trees and beach chair.  Wish I could just transport myself right to that beach chair in the sand right now, as sadly there is no beach in my future this summer.  The design team has that beach vibe going on projects you can see over at BBTB2 and you can link one up too.

Cricut:
CTMH You Are Here-all cuts
Paper-Echo Park Summer Party bg paper, CTMH solids
brown chalk ink for edging

  1. I don't know how I didn't find that tree cut, I own the CTMH cart you used. Anyway, great layout and lovin' those trees!

  3. I'm so envious of people who can create scenes with their cricut cuts. This is an awesome 2-page layout!
