based on a movie or a book

Happy Monday!  Our BBTB2 theme this week is "based on a book or movie".  There is a story about my layout this week, which is based on the Disney movie Sleeping Beauty.  Several years ago we went to Disney World and to my great surprise, my preteen and teen age boys begged to meet the princesses.  So along with all the little girls dressed in princess gear, we slogged through a huge line until magically, there were Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Belle.  The boys were starstruck!  It was their favorite thing they did on that trip....who would have guessed?  Not me!  While I have most of the pics from that trip scrapped, I never got around to doing all the princess pictures, so Sleeping Beauty got her layout with the fellas.  Hope you will join us with a book or movie inspired project this week!  You can see the DT projects over at BBTB2.

  1. Awe. I love the story you shared with your layout. I have a preteen boy, myself, and he's sweet like that. TFS. Great job on your layout.

  3. I love your magical layout. The colors are so pretty, too...who doesn't love the princesses. I think everyone wants a little magic in their lives.

  4. I love this layout and the story that goes with it! On our last trip to Disney Aaron was a junior in college. He too was photographed with all of the characters, including the princesses. He charmed the little mermaid when she said, "You have red hair like me!" He replied, "Yep! That's just one of the reasons you are my favorite Disney Princess!" She replied, "Awe" and leaned into him for the best photo!! Oh our sons!!
