Happy Monday! Did you have a good Valentine's Day weekend? I had to work all weekend but I did get ice cream, BBQ, and flowers which cheered me up, even though it's cold and snowy here. So our BBTB2 challenge this week is to make a shaped card of some sort. I used Birthday Bash to cut the scallop circle card base and mat. The rest of the card uses Create A Critter for all the cuts. I had an owl from CAC left over from a Valentine project and I just started adding things from CAC and got maybe a little carried away with the tulips, lol! (I think my longing for spring and temperatures higher than 32 degrees are showing with the tulips…) There is a whole variety of shaped cards to be seen over at BBTB2, so check out what the rest of the design team has done and I hope you have a marvelous week!

What a cute scene, Michelle! Lovely details and sweet owl!
ReplyDeleteWhat a super sweet card! I love the whole scene. Create a Critter is one of my favourite cartridges. Since Design Space is down today, I think I'll get that cartridge out and see if I can recreate your wonderful spring card. Thanks for inspiring!
ReplyDeleteI love the shape and the design is so pretty, it makes me smile seeing the owl, sunshine trees and flowers Thanks for the inspiration. Have a blessed day

Sorry you had to work on Valentine's weekend Michelle, but glad that you got some love goodies in spite of having to work! Your shaped card is totally adorable!! I love that cute owl and no you didn't go overboard with the tulips, they are perfect to me. I love how springy this card is and long for spring myself. I'm so sick of the extreme cold and if we ever make it back to the 30's it will feel like a heat wave. lol Snow tonight, don't want that either. It would be nice if the weathermen are wrong once again and we wouldn't get it. lol Stay warm, hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the tulips ;)
ReplyDeleteOh my Michelle!! This is just darling!! I so love the tulips, tree, owl and sun. And I'm with you, I am ready for Spring!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love your springy shape card. I think the tulips are so pretty and I know I am certainly in the mood for spring. It is nice to spring at least, on your pretty card! I love the scene that you created.
ReplyDeleteyou can never put enough embellishments on a card. Love it, makes me want spring to get here. I have a yard full of daffodils and I will probably have to water them tomorrow since we don't have any rain here in CA.
