Happy Monday! The BBTB2 challenge for the next two weeks is a snowflake theme. We got a big snow while my kids were home on winter break and of course I took a few pics as snow forts were constructed! For my layout, I used an older cricut image collection from Creative Memories that I bought years ago called Tis the Season for my snowflakes and snowman and a font called Just Marsha that I downloaded from da fonts. Am I the only one who loses track of time browsing fonts? LOL!!!! Head over to the BBTB2 site where you can link up a snow themed project for the next two weeks and see the design team projects for inspiration.

Get Well-Feeling Sick? Milk it card
Happy first Monday of 2021! I don't know about you, but I'm kind of glad to leave 2020 in the rear view mirror. We can all hope 2021 is a better year. I've seen so much loss and suffering at the hospital this year...and am hopeful the vaccines will change the course of the pandemic. I had tears of joy while getting my first shot of the Moderna vaccine last week! It represents hope! My hospital coworkers have been cheering and taking pictures as they get vaccinated. As vaccine availability gradually spreads out beyond health care workers and nursing home residents over the next few months, I encourage everyone to get one to protect themselves and all those in their community.
Our BBTB2 challenge for the next two weeks is get well cards. As many of us may know someone who is sick from covid or other illness, there will be many opportunities to send a homemade get well card this year. My card below, from the the Just Because Cards cricut image collection, has the kind of punny humor that always makes me smile. It is a slightly larger 6x6 size, as I'm planning it to use when dropping off a meal to a sick neighbor and wanted to have room to write the reheating/cooking instructions inside. Go check out the design team projects and link one up to share!

Pinecone Christmas card
Happy Wednesday! Can you believe it's almost Christmas? The presents are mostly wrapped under the tree and cookies are baking as we speak. While we are FaceTiming in the grandparents to keep us all safe, I'm grateful for technology that will allow us to virtually be together. I still love getting good old fashioned Christmas cards from family and friends, so I'm sharing another one I sent out this year featuring a pine cone. Don't forget, we still have our challenge running over at the BBTB2 blog with Double Trouble for any Christmas project using any die cutting machine.

Christmas layout
Happy Monday! Are you hanging in there in this December 2020? I hope you are all able to find a few moments for some joy in the season. Crafting is sort of my happy therapy during these difficult times, and I had fun planning and making some Christmas scrapbook layouts and cards this week.
The BBTB2 challenge for the month of December is a partnership with Double Trouble. You can go read the exact challenge requirements over at BBTB2, but essentially it is a Christmas themed challenge and you can use any type of die cutting machine this month, not just a cricut. There are some optional twists and prizes involved too! I used the Close to My Heart Artbooking image collection for all the cuts on this project and I love how it turned out! All ready for some Christmas pictures! Take a look over at the BBTB2 site to see the other design team projects and you have the whole month to link up a project and maybe even win a prize!
