Sometimes a card just comes together and makes you happy-well this one did that for me! The candy cane and merry christmas are from Simply Charmed and the cardstock and paper are SU. The inside stamps came from an SU set called Tree Trimmings.

holiday cheer
This layout from Christmas Eve last year uses the Tis the Season cartridge and more of the CM Holidazzle paper. The steaming cup image was perfect because my kids love the tradition of drinking coffee with Papa and Grandma when they visit (my husband and I are not coffee drinkers) and eagerly look forward to curling up with them in the early morning to have their coffee fix. Although I'm not sure it's still coffee by the time they are done adding creamer to it....

dear Santa layout
There is some really cool word art for titles on the Tis the Season cart. The bulbs, title, and stocking are all from this cart. The paper is old CM from my stash that worked great with the bulb cricut cuts. (The glitter paper is very very fun-I'm going to have to get some in every color now!)

let it snow layout
I must finally be ready for winter, because I had so much fun making the snowman and sled on this layout! (The weatherman says we might have flurries this weekend!) It is all from CM Tis the Season. The paper is the new CM Holidazzle Paper. I LOVE the snowman with the earmuffs! He may take over from the Doodlecharms snowman as my favorite.

Happy Holidays matchbook
This (sort of) came together while playing around with the Fabulous Finds cartridge. I got it as a free cart last year, but never really did anything much with it. It's one that really needs more directions, in my opinion. I decided to try to cut one of the matchbook albums, not at all sure how it went together. My first attempts at cutting the inserts went tragically wrong and ended up in the trash. I ended up just using the cover and cutting some 4x4 inserts that will hold wallet size photos. I think I'm going to have to find a tutorial instead of winging it next time. There were some other little minis on there that looked kind of interesting. Anyway, here's what I put together.

Wisemen Still Adore Him layout
This layout took FOREVER to make, but I love how it turned out, using the Winter Frolic cart. It was somewhat(!!!!) time consuming to assemble all the Nativity figures and get all the layers on there! In the pics, my kids are reading the Christmas story out loud before we open gifts.
Edited to add: I've had some questions on the sizing of the cuts on the layout. The nativity people are cut at 3 1/2 inches, except for baby Jesus, who was cut at 2 1/4. The palm trees are cut at 5 1/2 inches. The barn was cut at 5 inches.
Cricut:

Paper-assorted solid cardstock from my stash, plus some white, silver, and gold shimmer paper for the titles
Stickle on the wisemen's gifts, brown chalk ink
I'm going to link this to the CCR challenge this week to use an animal somewhere on the project. I've got sheep and camels hanging out there with baby Jesus.

Christmas layout (ornaments)
This layout has more of the ornaments from the CM Tis the Season cart. My best friend and I scrapped last weekend and couldn't stop using this cart! I think between the two of us we used half the cuts!
